Week# 26

Learning Log for Week of March 14th - March 18th

My favorite thing this week was my mini choir show at Daybreak's Garden Park Community Center.

Homeroom:

This week I was working on Brainpop. I was learning some new cool facts on health. I was learning how staying fit is very important, and to keep exercising. I also played a little bit more of the survival game "Save Fred" it is fun.

Math:

This week I played my Prodigy game. It is a very fun and exciting math games that keep you entertained while having fun with math! I am learning some new skills that will help me excel in math.

English/Language Arts:

This week I was so excited! Our Spelling was on its way and came on Friday! We are going to start it on Monday, It will be so fun! In my LEA class this week I started my last Narnia book called The Last Battle  It is a really good book that is so exciting because every chapter gets better and better!

Science:

This week in science we learned about a bird egg. We printed off a copy of a diagram on an egg. It shows you the differnt parts that an egg has and what it will use to protect its self and keep it safe. Their are a lot of cool new facts that I didn't know eggs. We did a science project on eggs, we put and egg in some vinegar and let it sit for week, then it turned into a what they call a naked egg where the shell was eaten away by the vinegar . It was so cool!

History/Geography:

This week in Geography we are still working on our study of the Asian continent. We studied the population of Asia and the Regions. My country that I am doing a report on is India, In 2013 the population of India was about 1.252 Billion! And the region that it currently is in is called South Asia, because the British colonized India and every region South, North, East, and West was called that. So that is why India's region is called South Asia, because India is in the south.

Tech:

This week in my Digital Photography class I submitted my photos that I took of my cousin and my younger brother. Dare is 2 and Coleson my brother is 3, they are so cute in the photos!

Choir:

I did my mini spring show this week on Monday! It was so fun to sing the songs at the show with all the nice and friendly people that were supporting my choir, I love to perform at differnt places.

Dance:

We are still working on our recital dance and now are starting to clean it for the performance In June, I am so excited!
