Learning Log for Week of May 2nd - May 5th.
My favorite thing this week was working on my girl scout badges.
Homeroom:
This week I worked on Math on Khan Academy. I also played my prodigy math game. I went on brain pop and watched some videos.
Math:
This week in Math I finished lesson # 22 in Math U See. It was on how to subtract mixed unequal denominators. It is getting a little easier each time and I am ready and excited to be done with fractions!

I worked on my Spelling-U-See and finished my lesson #8. I learned about bossy r chunks. The story was about the ancient pyramids of Egypt, which are one of my favorites!
Science:
This week in science we talked more about biomes. We starting studied marine water. We got to learn about the different levels in the ocean. Then we got to watch a movie by James Cameron about him going in a submarine down the mariana trench.
History/Geography:
This week in Geography we talked about the religions of our country. In South Korea many of the people there practice Buddhism. My mom says we are going to try and visit all the 5 major world religions sacred spots here in Utah. I am excited for the field trips.
Choir:
We are still practicing our songs for spring recital. We are working on how to do our solos. I am excited and nervous.
Dance:
We have been working on cleaning up our technique for our dance recital. Thursday night ballet is fun, but it is also really hard. I am excited to see the show.
